O’Reilly Motorsports headed to sunny Florida this past weekend for the 48th annual Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals at Gainesville Raceway. Race number 3 of the 24 race season was a success with Tony Schumacher, John Force, Shane Gray, and Eddie Krawiec walking away with Wallies.
Schumacher beat out Antron Brown in the Top Fuel division for his 83rd victory of his career and the first for the 2017 season. Schumacher has won a total of 5 times at Gainesville Raceway becoming the winningest Top Fuel driver at the facility.
Force locked in his 148th career victory and 2,500 career round-win beating out rookie Jonnie Lindberg in the Funny Car finals Sunday.
Gray defeated four-time champion Greg Anderson, in the Pro Stock series, claiming his first victory at Gainesville Speedway and sixth victory of his career.
Three-time Pro Stock Motorcycle champion, Eddie Krawiec, crossed the finish line for his 37th career victory and outraced his teammate Andrew Hines.
